Virtual reality gaming is where a person can experience being in a three-dimensional environment and interact with that environment during a game. This is an essential part of the game.

Virtual reality requires special hardware and software. This section is for the discussion of the VR software (the games) we play.

VR Hardware is discussed in the Virtual Reality Products section of the site.

"Play is the highest form of research, a chance to discover who we are, or maybe who we want to become." - Albert Einstein
Those who play games know why they do. To discover worlds, to challenge our fingers, and our minds. To connect with friends, or maybe just to escape.
Games are about possibilities, the paths we take as well as the ones we don't.

Thanks Falconer for this VR Section idea. The future is upon us. Maybe one day VR gaming will be so commonplace that today's gaming will seem like 8bit gaming of the past.

My mum whose disability makes her not use PCs said it is the future. I got her to try it out with for VR videos and she stayed in VR for hours. I think there will be a place for flat screen games until we get a holodeck but VR is going to seriously take over the market as it gets better and beter. I've seen some great 360 and 180 VR videos on the youtube app, and movie trailers in VR are amazing!
