That is huge news for fans of Fallout NV. Fallout 3 was added some time ago, so Fallout fans can now play the most popular Fallout games on the XB1.

A brand new title called “The Outer Worlds” was announced at The Game Awards on Thursday evening.

Obsidian Entertainment revealed the upcoming title, which gives off heavy “Fallout” vibes, in a trailer during the event. The trailer features the song “Passenger” by Iggy Pop, which is sure to see a resurgence in popularity courtesy of this new game trailer.

Set on a colony at the edge of the galaxy where corporations have taken over every aspect of life, your character awakens from hibernation in the midst of a conspiracy that threatens the survival of the colony on the brink of collapse.

As a true single-player RPG, you can build your character into several different playstyles, choose and manage your companions, and drive the story through your decision making, branching dialog, and the actions you take.

There's salt in this game! I can feel it just by watching the trailers and also from the memes people managed to make.

Still, I'm quite excited to get my hands on this one, been a while since I last played an obsidian game. like Star Wars: KotOR 2 and Fallout: New Vegas.
they're buggy but they're great.

From what I have read, my first impression of this game is Fallout X Borderlands = The Outer Worlds. I am very hopeful of this game, and will probably pre-order cause I am an idiot, but you have to have hope. Honestly, I have been a bit disappointed of late, AC Odyssey wasn't as good as Origins to me; the last Tomb Raider was a bit of a fizzle to me; Didn't really like Monster Hunter, and I read about how great 2017 & 2018 were for game releases, but yet nothing sticks in my mind like the Fallout before 76 or the Borderlands Games, Kingdoms of Amalur. Where is my knock out game, that which possesses me like FO4 did? Still waiting....... IS THIS IT?

Yes!

This and Cyberpunk are the games I am most looking forward to. When they come out I'll take a painkiller and have a good play (and regret it the next day :P). I really want this to be good.

Things that stood out from the video for me (writing as I watch):
Looks like it will have bullet time. Companions like in Isometric, and traditional JRpgs is welcome. I was wondering if it would be more like Borderlands or Fallout and I'd say Fallout from what I've seen so far. They have brands of weapons just like in Borderlands. Weapons are customizable! I love customization. I just saw a huge Mech car we pilot it? I just noticed a stealth element that wasn't talked about too.

The Outer Worlds by Obsidian and Private Division. An underdog of E3 but after a closed door walkthrough, Dantics left the most excited he has been for a while. Why? Well that’s what this video is going to explain.
