The main website has been updated fallout.bethesda.net

The song is an old favorite of mine by John Denver so I'm wondering if the game will be set in Colarado which was his home. That being said the song is also about West Virginia so it could also be a reference to where the game is set. According to the Man on vault 76 TV the reclamation is coming and based on what I saw I believe that this vault it set up to reclaim the wastes.

There is also a weird calendar on the wall that says 1776-2076. 1776 is the year that America was born as a nation and 2077 is the year the bombs dropped. Did they know the war was going to happen and planned ahead to retake the country at a specific date?

Date on the pipboy is 27 October 2102 so it isn't long after the bombs fell that we'll we venturing outside.
Some people are saying this will be an online or Co-op game.

According to Todd Howard Fallout 76 is 4 times bigger than Fallout 4. They tricked us and put a preview in the Xbox conference.

The game is set in the state of West Virginia in the year of 2102, 25 years after the Great War and before any previous Fallout game. It involves Vault 76, one of the 17 control vaults, which was meant to open in 2097.

Not all vaults were designed with experimental purposes. Vault 76 is one of seventeen known "control" vaults, meaning that it was used as a baseline to compare to experimental vaults. Vault 76 housed 500 occupants and was programmed to open to the wasteland outside 20 years after a nuclear war. Vault 76 is located somewhere in West Virginia, near Washington D.C.

Construction of Vault 76 began in 2065 and ended in 2069, under the supervision of Vault-Tec official Giles Wolstencroft. Vault 76 then debuted seven years later in 2076, in honor of the United States' tercentenary when discussing Vault-Tec's plans to expand. The Vault is scheduled to reopen in 2097, twenty years after the events of the Great War.

Fallout 76 will be available for Preorder June 15th.

I'm really cool about this but I'm not sure what to feel about the whole Online-Coop MMO thing.
I'm not really good going MMO or being social IRL or in VL.
Anyway. I loved the song. I could listen to John Denver's Take me Home song all day everyday.
plus they featured the Collector's Edition of Fallout 76 which includes a wearable T-51B Helmet but I doubt if I could wear it with my tiny Head.

I am very excited about this game, there are many reasons, and here are a few:

1) I am a fairly dedicated Fallout fan, I loved 3 & NV, but Fallout 4 took it to the next level that really captured my interest and many of the mechanics of FO4 will be included in FO76, but it appears FO76 will require a bit more attention to self preservation.

2) FO76 will now allow me to play online with friends, I have wished many times I could share my Fallout world with others, finally get that opportunity.

3) Looking forward to new "creatures" and how this world will be with no NPC.

4) It takes place in an area where I grew up. For those of you who watched the release trailer, you may have noted a sign, with a big clown for an amusement park called "Camden Park"; which is located in Hungtington W.V. and this park is about 11 miles from where I grew up as a young child. I was so excited when I saw that sign, and the next day, my niece posted a picture of the sign when she took her grandchildren there for a day of fun. I would post it, but forgot how for now.

I really hope to see other warriors in the West Virginia Wasteland, that will make it so much better to travel it with old friends, and NEW ONES, that I am sure will surface. I have already joined a few 76 groups, many, many people are planning factions, groups and clans already. Have thought of starting a club on Xbox for the "Wasteland Warrior Clan". Probably will too, feel free to join in if you are going to invest in the 76 experience.

I want a pet death-claw.....or giant Sloth.... I doubt they will have any new armor, and based on the timeline, the XO-1 will probably not be available, but that is fine, my favorite Power Armor is the T-51 anyway, the paint layout is so much more aesthetically pleasing.

Well, hope to see you all there in November.

I'll be there with bells on (well, maybe not bells). I'm so excited to wander with you.

C.A.M.P., the workshop of tomorrow. I was really hoping for some more on the actual building mechanics of the game, building is what keeps me enthralled with FO4, love developing broad settlements, especially in the modded games. There are so many mods for the building aspect, you can produce some killer buildings.

I am sure that FO76 will eventually be modded, most definitely will have to play the game in the original version several times before resorting to mods. We have approximately 84 days before 76 release, I am already impatient as hell.

Okay, for those of you that are interested in this game online as a group from our very own Clan, I have started a Club on X-Box Live called the "Warrior Clan 76ers", hopefully to use a base of communication and coordination for playing Fallout 76 on-line. Masiv has already jumped in...

Don't know if you can do a club on PS4, I have one, but use of for select few Sony exclusives. I am an "X'er" through and through.

Here is the "real" sign that I referenced seeing in the E3 show. I am pretty excited that one of my favorite game series will be taking place in the area where I grew up.

If I can get well enough to start playing console games again I would love this! It would actually be my main reason for buying the game. I'd love it to be just us against the entire world!

This is really cool. I remember thinking about you when they announced the game. I wonder how many places you will recognize. I wonder if we could build a base at your house lol

I will have to pull up the map and see just how far it actually is. That would be cool, but I lived east of Huntington in Kentucky in an are call Ironville/Summit. I gotta check now. I am heading up there the end of September for a family reunion, so I may try to go there and get pics in the park to see if they used the park or just the sign. Either way, it was exciting to see it in a Fallout game.

I pre-ordered the game today. No beta code though. Maybe in a few days.
