As Falconer's idea a really really great idea. is for us to put on blogs and tell our stuff and things. I never really have other blogs in other websites my twitter account became a wasteland almost instantly. I'll post here in Warrior Clan often so I don't think this blog will be a wasteland. maybe it will or maybe not. too many maybes.

I'll start with a few things about me. currently in College, course of Civil Engineering. I used to be in Architecture but I blew it. I love reading manga especially Yuri/Lesbian relationships also about Monster Girls. I like watching anime. drawing (so far only draw girls). I also like decorating, cute and sexy things. So it's not uncommon for me to play weird games like Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 or Senran Kagura

I'm also a Chinese/Filipino. 3/4 Chinese and 1/4 Filipino, Mom is half Chinese and Dad is pure 100% Chinese power. so 3/4 and 1/4 people really get confused when I answered like that.
I really like it here in Warrior Clan so much has changed since we came from GameSpot (no thanks to them taking us down) but I guess it is what it is. still, being in here in the new Warrior Clan is kinda better. We're like our own little School Club about games. It IS my second School Club! unlike in my actual school I'm not obligated to visit every after school time. and it's not about Drawing. it's games. I'm not saying my Art club in school sucks. it's great in its own way.

I'll stop right here. I might be making this post too long. I'll post more when I have things in mind.

EDIT: OH! I'm so so so sorry. I got confused on the Subforums and places. I think I'm alright now.

I agree I think it's great that we aren't on GS anymore. I feel like we should be celebrating our version of Independence Day or something!

Well, normally people around here always ask me if I've been to china. I never been to china. I just have a Chinese blood heck. I don't even know how to speak Chinese. I only know English and Filipino. So I don't know about Chinese Culture.
There are some fun Filipino Culture I guess. They put up a lot of festivals. I guess my favorite is Balayong Fest. exclusive to Palawan in my place.
because they value nature and the tree is really pretty.

I've been on Chinese Embassy soil. It was a fascinating place a lot of the building was museum & the man in charge was great learned a lot. I'd love to see some parts of China like the great wall and the old temples.

I've been meaning to talk about this mostly in my perspective and knowledge. uhm Religion yes, that. I'll keep an open mind as wide as the gates of Tartarus or something anyway. Did Easter, Holy Week or Semana Santa or whatever others it. I'm not very engrossed with Religion or that. since I'm an atheist. but my mother is Catholic but she's not batting an eye on whatever we believe in. People here in the Philippines often see the introduction of Christianity by the Spaniards as a blessing. I thought of it as manipulation, I got a lecture from classmates and teachers alike after saying it. in a way and also in the course of history. Muslims are older than christianity here in Philippines. Mindanao to be exact.

anyway. I only thought about this recently because one of my friends. told me that her parents dislikes games like Diablo and Dark Souls because of its "Satanic" portrayal. I was like "WTF 😒" I told her that it shouldn't be that way. since in Diablo you kick Diablo's butt you're the hero and in Dark Souls it's just a different way of Portrayal of Death. Another thing is that a lot of people here are conservative that referring Souls, Demons, Angels and what not that Video Games with the topic of those things makes you corrupted and satanic in ways I do not know of.

What about in your places? Do people, Family, Friends or acquaintances think video games are gonna make you unholy or something?
I'd like to hear your opinions and open mindedness.

i might say that I'll pray for you, or happy Christmas or Easter, but for friendship sake I stay away from discussing religion with my friends. Especially if we don't all believe the same thing, and given that my belief is a bit more unique than everyone else that's not going to happen. I think that everyone here will agree though that playing games isn't demonic though.

Well, exactly my thoughts. But some people do have some ways on using their beliefs in other means though, I heard that one gamer played Bioshock Infinite. and when he saw the ending. He prompted Steam to Refund his money due to the game offended his beliefs. Steam, To my surprise. did refunded his money.
What's up with that?

Weirdly enough calling me heathen is a joke I know. but I thought it's Heretic? hahahaha

EDIT: oh. With that said. good point. I'd rather not stain our friendship just because of this. 😞

I wrote a small article at the bottom of our home page called, "Do video games cause violenence?". Read that again. It highlights what many people thing about video games.

Some people don't like professional wrestling because it "Makes you aggressive" toward others. I don't think that way. It could be argued that watching wrestling gives you a release of built up tension and aggravation.

"Play is the highest form of research, a chance to discover who we are, or maybe who we want to become." - Albert Einstein
Those who play games know why they do. To discover worlds, to challenge our fingers, and our minds. To connect with friends, or maybe just to escape.
Games are about possibilities, the paths we take as well as the ones we don't.

On another Note. Wrestling. haha I don't find it entertaining besides that it's fake. there's no one pretty or fabulous to look at.
Do people like it really think it's real or they just like it because it's uh can't find the right word for that. Macho I guess?

I'll be sure to recheck that thread.

Professional wrestling is choreographed, but it is still very physical. I had a few opportunities in my younger days to get into pro wrestling, but thought better of it. It doesn't pay as well as one would think.

If it's choreographed but still get physical of course. Do Injuries occur? like accidents or unintentional physical damage?

Now I saw my grades last semester and with great joy and pride I passed all of the subjects. It was a little too close. I don't like cutting things close. but when it comes to school I'd hate myself for failing and procrastinating about it.
Luckily I deserve all of my shopping spree after the sem.
I know I'm not the brightest student or the most active one in class. I'm not even cut out for this course. Civil Engineering. took me a lot of convincing to put me there. And there are trying times that I think about shifting to another College. like Education, I can be a good teacher for one. like those mundane courses. but my family always succeeds on stopping me and making me carry on like this. Maybe games and this forum helped me about it too.

Still, I'm more or less half way through in College. after more or less 3 years I'll be done with this. I want it to be over sooner. I'm not getting any younger though.

I would encourage you to change your opinion regarding wanting college to be over. I graduated last May (almost a year ago) and I can tell you firsthand that I do miss school. I miss the long lectures, the camaraderie, the satisfaction of learning new material, and achievement.

Sure, working full-time right now is great and brings with it some certain satisfaction, but not like college. Completing assignments and achieving a good grade or learning something new from the research conducted for an assignment is just, empowering.

Sounds like you are a lot like I was when I went to college--quiet, not the brightest student in class (I'm sure you're a lot brighter than what you say you are, and not the most active. Those aren't necessary bad traits to have; it means you're absorbing the material fluently and in a different manner than the more extroverted students.

Oh, and after a challenging semester, I think you can definitely justify a shopping spree 😉

Mhm. a lot of people say that though, even my parents told me being a student is one of the best part in life.
If a lot of people do say that. Then you all are probably right. hehe I'll keep this in my mind.
Who knows maybe I'll enjoy school more with this mindset.

I hope I do get happier moments in school, I really do. like in those High School Anime I usually watch. but hehe we all know those are just works of fiction.
but hey, there's no harm in dreaming yeah?

Although yeah I do miss some of my friends back in High School we hang out when we're all on semestral break. maybe I'll miss student life and my friends when this is all over. That sounded a little too bittersweet. odd feeling though.

So I just finished. Nier Automata from Endings A to E. Now if you plan on playing this game and doesn't want some major spoiling spree. stop reading now.
So as I said spoiler alert. The story of Nier is really something. considering there's no human left on earth or even existence. What I really liked about the story on all endings show that Androids and Machines can be emotional. The game itself shows that the cease of existence of humans made Androids and Machines alike to imitate humans. culture, societal hierarchy and even emotions.

What hit me in the head is the process of getting Ending E: The End of Yorha. Which is set in the Credits. being prompted to Save the three heroes/heroines. of course. What I wanted to be is a happy ending and to save my beloved characters. The Credits will then repeat from the start but it'll become a bullet-hell minigame. making the Staff of the Credits enemies that shoots the hell out of you, now the start of it is pretty easy. as it comes to the part where they're a bunch of bullet sponges and casts a rain of hell upon you making it impossible to beat. When playing online and dying repeatedly, it'll ask you if you want to accept the help of others. when said yes. it'll be much easier to beat or definite victory for that.

That being said. when you beat the minigame Pods will ask you several questions. then this is the question that made me hit close to home. They will ask you if you're willing to sacrifice your life (Save game) to the extent of others? Deleting your save means you will help others the same way to accepted the help to beat the minigame. I was so shocked I laughed both hysterically and denial. I wanted to help but I couldn't delete my save, I still have things to do.
this really took me by surprise. I almost cried. but luckily I didn't the game was really Great I am speechless. only that I can say is that it has a message to send to people even if it's just a game. Are you willing to sacrifice yourself for others just like the characters in the game did?

Now for the Spoiler Free Version. Have a video game ever made you reflect on yourself in real life? Like does decisions in games has to do with your true nature in real life?

It's basically a war between Androids and Machines. well if looking solely in the Picture posted above Androids are the humanoid one and Machine Lifeforms are the large one. there are many variants of the machines.
There are times the events on the game are either disturbing or creepy. which I'm not surprised screenshots gave you the creeps. you'll get more of those when you the game.

Gameplay wise: Nier is an ARPG that has a part Open-World too. You get to explore different places in the future of ruined Earth. Deserts and Ruins and such places. It's quite the view to be honest. then again. Enemies differ from environment to environment.
Side Quests are also available in the Game which features almost like Witcher 3 story. sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's also sad. others are little bit of Both. Most gives you thoughts about humanity either IRL or in Video Game alike.

But that's just me. if you want to know for yourself. well, you have to play it. It's Great!
