CD Projekt Red Held to Ransom!

Why do people keep their private files where they can be hacked. Seriously I keep telling people to keep stuff like this on a portable hard drive unless it can't be helped. There have been a lot of cases lately of movies and the like being held to ransom.

I haven't been following gaming news for a while because I've been depressed over my hands. However yesterday the official Cyberpunk 2077 twitter feed tweeted out "BEEP!"

Microsoft closed out E3 2018 with a real coup though: The first look at CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 in...five years? Something like that.

All sorts of cyberpunk tropes on display here. Big splashy billboards, people ripping cables out of the back of their head, neon everything, cyborgs shooting guns at each other. It looks exactly like what you’d expect from a game called Cyberpunk 2077—the key, of course, being that it comes from CD Projekt, and thus you can expect storytelling on par with The Witcher. That’s one hell of an interesting proposition to me, and I’ve been waiting to see more of this game ever since that first trailer dropped in 2013.

Watch the E3 trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 — the role-playing game of the dark future from CD PROJEKT RED in Falconer post above.

"Play is the highest form of research, a chance to discover who we are, or maybe who we want to become." - Albert Einstein
Those who play games know why they do. To discover worlds, to challenge our fingers, and our minds. To connect with friends, or maybe just to escape.
Games are about possibilities, the paths we take as well as the ones we don't.

Cyberpunk 2077: What we learned in the most mind-blowing game demo we've ever seen

In bad news however it might not make it past the Aussie censors.

The game is looking good, a nice selection of screenshots here in case anyone missed them.
