Fallout 4 - Main Theme for Solo Piano

"Play is the highest form of research, a chance to discover who we are, or maybe who we want to become." - Albert Einstein
Those who play games know why they do. To discover worlds, to challenge our fingers, and our minds. To connect with friends, or maybe just to escape.
Games are about possibilities, the paths we take as well as the ones we don't.

That song is so pretty. Cherie (my loving little dog) stopped, ears up, and listened to it. She liked it too. 🐶

That's awesome! even animals love it. My dog Kailee almost never comes to me, she only goes near me when I have food to give her. such a spoiled dog. but I love her for it. She doesn't even like music.

A girl in Taipei plays the Super Mario Brothers theme song on a modified version of the shēng, a Chinese instrument that dates back thousands of years, and the sound is shockingly spot-on to the tunes of our favorite childhood game—right down to the foreboding underground theme and coin-grabbing sound effects. Ah, sweet nostalgia.

Sweet nostalgia and soothing.I watch a Chinese dating show, and it often uses the Super Mario Bros theme song when it shows funny elements of a candidate's bio.It makes it have a charming and innocent feel.

I used to watch a Filipino performance show called Showtime, and it had somebody pretend to be Mario, and they would run and jump on a stage, and there was moving props in the background to make it look like the person was moving through a Mario level, and it was quite enjoyable to watch,

That is amazing and like you said shockingly spot-on. The song from Dawn of War is great too that is one of my favourite RTS games that I still play from time to time. I need to get around to giving part 3 a try at some point.

Currently addicted to Persona 5's ending song Hoshi To Bokura To (Translated: With the Stars and Us)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzkK3XM25co
I really like the melody of the song, and I'm assuming it obviously intended to have an addicting effect since several songs from the game has the same melody. like Swear to my bones, Our Beginnings and Butterfly Kiss.

Reading the translated lyrics it really is inspiring for me. The way it is represented in the theme of Persona 5, it is simply gives me the courage to speak more more others that are not willing to show a disagreement.
I rarely get to play a game that kinda changes my attitude in real life. This is one them.

I have been listening to The Sisters Of Mercy album Floodland a lot, had it for an age it is brilliant. The two best songs from it in my opinion are below Dominion has several versions across several versions of the album though ranging from about 4 minutes long to almost 9 minutes long 😝 and This Corrosion.

Still in pain (most of my arm hurt atm), but I had to share this song. I'm a huge fan of Simon and Garfunkel and I've heard this song many times, but this version is done by a metal band called Disturbed, and while I don't normally listen to metal this is brilliantly powerful:

Wow!

Love them both.

That is a powerful version of an otherwise mellow song. Good find.

Major Nelson joins Robin Beanland of Rare for a pirate jam session on the Sea of Thieves' pirate orchestra, traditional instruments, and musical possibilities.

Have I ever told you guys that 80's and other old songs are way better than today's songs?

A great song and mostly animated music video from a group called Gunship, they have an 80s vibe going on in their videos.
