Well, the old Warrior Clan board on GS is now gone. GS rolled out it's new site the other day, and a lot of people are complaining about the open forums. The picture avatar button doesn't work and the site is very slow. You can go back and take a look, but I am so glad we made the move when we did. We have an awesome place to post and connect right here.

The others are just stuck with the generic forums there and most are not happy about it.

I was just thinking. About a month ago, GS said they would be contacting the union board leaders about the changes to GS and the forums there. They never reached out to me and I don't think they care that we are gone. Oh well, their loss.

The new site looks rather bland and I find it has more error pages than what I am actually looking for but I have only been back to GS twice since the WC moved here.

I do think they will have a noticeable drop in traffic with the unions gone though. That all being said I think the layout here is far better than anything GS has come up with.

Agreed, glad we made the switch when we did. The new layout it quite confusing and slow in my opinion. I can't access most of my old stuff and the general layout is just sloppy. Of course, we all adjusted to all of the previous changes so in time, the community will most likely return to its old self. However, since we now have an actual site for the Clan I do not forsee myself going back to GS. This site is way too nice and is easily accessable. Thanks again for all of the time and effort put into creating this site, you won't regret it!

Not sure if there are any Batman fans among us but I just got around to The Dark Knight Returns part 1 and 2 last night which came in at around 2 hours 45 minutes combined in running time.

Really good watch to be honest and very well paced, without giving too many spoilers we don't see him as bats for about the first 20 minutes it is just an old Bruce around 60 having been retired 10 years feeling the call to arms for various reason's and as expected despite having kept in shape he has some trouble but not a great deal keeping up with the scum of Gotham.

There is a story between the two parts and also a story within each part but it all ties in very nice and leads to a great old Batman experience. So go forth and watch :)

It seems that everyone who now hates the new GS has moved over to GIO. Seriously there are tones of former Gamespotters over there now!

If you are a member add me to your friends list!

Oh and I'm advertising the warrior clan in my sig :)

BTW we need some small pic sigs for when we are on another site.

Ugh!
I just had to reinstall Windows (8.1 now) and all my programs on my new laptop computer. After one month of use, it developed a bunch of corrupted files and I couldn't use IE or the File Manager, and the Win Updates didn't work either. The WiFi was flakey as well.

I called Microsoft for help and I got this wonderful guy named Al (Alagesh) to help. He tried to repair the corrupted files, which failed. He tried to repair Win 8, which failed. He tried to reinstall Win 8 with the option of keeping all my programs, which failed. We decided to go for the full, clean Win 8.1 upgrade install which did work nicely.

I just finished installing the programs I use most, device drivers, and printer drivers this morning. Al was so great in getting this going again. Thanks Al.

I still have to configure my email and install my little PC game, Zuma, that I play from time to time.

I know many people don't like Microsoft for various reasons, but let me say that they support their customers. Al did a great job for me and I have only good things to say about him and Microsoft right now.

I can only believe that people calling with XB1 problems will be treated well and their issues resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Don't know about Microsoft and the XOne, but I bought Diana a new phone Saturday, and it didn't switch until 24 hours later, so I ATTMEPTED to call AT&T, and finally got what I needed with Live Chat. They were helpful, but the whole process took way to long.

Yes, you can keep them as long as you like, no mater what.

Nah I meant PSN has a big section where you can go and get the the games free anytime even after the month they were made free.

In other words they are free forever, you don't have to buy/download them in the month they are made free. No time limit on purchase.

I think I read that if you delete the game for space ,HDD fracks up etc then you are out of luck no re-downloads.

With Xbox Live, you only have a certain amount of days to download the game before it becomes unavailable. For example, the first free game, which is available the 1st of the month, is available for free until the 16th of the month and once that time is expired, you will have to pay for it if you want it. The same goes for the 16th of the month game, it is available until the 1st of the month and then the cycle continues. Hope that makes sense.
