Our town has two Gamestop stores and I got the last copy of BL2 GOTY from one of them Yesterday (I don't know about the other one). I installed the second disk which holds all the extras and it took some time to install.

Anyway, I started playing last night and this morning and am now this level 6 Psycho guy (checkout my abs).

Lets play.

Another DLC set for Borderlands 2

More than a year after release, Gearbox Software continues to offer new content for Borderlands 2. The previously announced Halloween-themed Headhunter 1: TK Baha's Bloody Harvest digital expansion will be released on October 22, 2K Games announced yesterday.

The content, the first of multiple Headhunter add-ons, will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac on that day around the world for $2.99 / £2.39 / €2.99.
In TK Baha's Bloody Harvest, players will seek out the pieces of a key that will lead them into the heart of the Pumpkin Kingpin's pumpkin patch where they will battle against the Kingpin himself.

Throughout the DLC, players will find "augmented candy," which will drop from enemies and provide temporary player buffs, ranging from faster movement speed to increased damage.

i will not be able to attend the game session tomorrow. I'm taking a tour of the college I am transfering to and once the tour is over, I have a draft for a paper to work on. Ah the life of a college student...oh well study hard play hard, right?

Whenever we have another game day though, I will try to attend. Foru player Borderlands sounds like fun!

I'm glad that 2K is still releasing DLC for Borderlands 2. The Halloween themed DLC sounds quite interesting and it sounds like it might be somewhat similar to the original's Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC in regards to the pumkin theme.

Yeah, sorry, but it is Biketoberfest and we already had plans. Di gets off work at 1130, then we are heading over after we feed all the kids. Won't be back until Sunday evening. Really sorry to miss it, hopefully we can do it again soon.

Gearbox Software CEO and President Randy Pitchford has confirmed that the recently released Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon's Keep won't be the final Borderlands 2 DLC offering, though he stopped short of actually revealing any information on what to expect from the next Borderlands 2 expansion(s).

"Everyone has this expectation that those would be the four DLCs and then that's it," Pitchford said, during a recent appearance on the Nerdist podcast. "We don't have details yet...[but] if you are a Borderlands fan, you don't have to be afraid that [Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon's Keep] is the end of it."

If the ending of Assault On Dragon Keep is any clue as to what we will be getting ourselves into, expect the six vault hunters to take a trip to the Hyperion moon base where it is thought that an armory resides. Break into that bad boy and whoo hoo! Maybe we can finally destroy that base and bring peace to Pandora. Nah!

The second Headhunter DLC pack for Borderlands 2, Wattle Gobbler, will arrive this November, according to Take-Two Interactive’s Q2 2014 financials.

Three Headhunter DLC packs are planned, with each offering a small set of enclosed missions with a giant boss at the end. The first pack, TK Baha’s Bloody Harvest, released earlier this month and saw players helping TK Baha deal with the Pumpkin King.

With a name like Wattle Gobbler it stands a good chance that this DLC will drop around Thanksgiving, and will probably involve several turkeys

Sorry I missed Saturday morning. I took the opportunity to visit with an elderly family member that I don't see that often.

Anyway, Bearmeat and I hooked up Saturday night about 11:30 or so and played for about an hour (maybe I shouldn't say hooked up; got together, no, met, yeah, we met). I'm still a level 23.

There seems to be more distance in points between levels now. Is that true? We did collect a lot of money though. I have 10,000 dollars and 24 slots in my backpack. I like collecting weapons and selling them back to that "slime ball gun dealer".

I seem to get money and then get into a tight spot, get killed a lot and loose all my money. Does that happen to you?

Bl2 features 19 Story Missions that are usually significantly longer than the more plentiful Side Quests and make up the main story of the game. Here's a list (the list of side missions is to long to post here). Can you tell where you are? What's been the most difficult for you?

Story Missions

Windshear Waste
◾My First Gun
◾Blindsided

Southern Shelf
◾Cleaning Up the Berg
◾Best Minion Ever

Three Horns Divide
◾The Road to Sanctuary

Sanctuary
◾Plan B
◾Hunting the Firehawk
◾A Dam Fine Rescue
◾A Train to Catch
◾Rising Action
◾Bright Lights, Flying City
◾Wildlife Preservation
◾The Once and Future Slab
◾The Man Who Would Be Jack
◾Where Angels Fear to Tread
◾Where Angels Fear to Tread Part 2
◾Toil and Trouble
◾Data Mining
◾The Talon of God

Sorry about leading you into that Minecraft easter egg. I thought it contained more eridium than it did.

I tend to stay alive most of the time unless I am facing a difficult boss then I die numerous times until it's dead. Deathtrap is a lifesaver; so far I have it upgraded so that it replenishes my shields, has a long range beam, and every time I get a kill its field duration increases. Pretty beefed up so that I survive difficult situations with ease, most of the time. What is the Kriegs's special abilities again?

Judging by that list, I have eight more story missions left.

Krieg's melee is a super strength bare-knuckle rampage and throwing that long-handled buzz axe of his, one after another.

His axe cache lasts until the melee is over. I don't have a damage value on it but it doesn't take many blows on the big guys to bring them down.

The most difficult mission for me so far has been the Wildlife Preservation. The beasts were too numerous and hard to kill. They would slip in behind me and start attacking.

I finished "The Once and Future Slab" this morning. The next mission is "The Man Who Would Be Jack", but I think I'll do some side missions first.

Note: This is post #100. Masiv is now a level 2. Post, post, post.

Well, Sunday night, all my money was gone again. Some of these side missions are brutal. I reached level 24 but at a great cost. I went back to free Carson from jail, but the Loaders and those little flying drones were kicking my butt.

I made it out of there, but now I've got those bandit cars and flying helicopter looking things that are raining bombs and killing me.

That seems like a useful special ability. From your description, he kinda sounds like Brick from BL1....speaking of which, whatever happened to him anyways? I still haven't beat the original game yet so his fate is uncertain to me.

I cleared that side mission without to much of a problem, well besides one death. The EXP Loaders are really annoying since they can practically kill you if you are in the detonation range. If you need help will your missions, just let me know and I'll join your game and help you out with your missions for a change.

Thanks so much. I know you'll help me out. We will party-up and actually talk next time. That will be great.

Thanks for the heads up Bear. Well, the wait is over. 2K games and Gearbox Software today released Thanksgiving-themed downloadable content for Borderlands 2 called "The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler". This DLC, the second of three Headhunter expansions for Borderlands 2, is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $3.

In the DLC, players will participate in a hunger-themed competition hosted by Mr. Torgue where they are challenged to hunt down a giant turkey, the Wattle Gobbler.

What a deal. Get'em while they're hot.

So, whenever I look at the "most viewed" topics, I see a count that says "viewed 1,189" or so times. I can almost guarantee that between all of us members, we have not viewed this topic that many times. My main point is, if we are getting that much activity, why aren't more people joining? Surely someone has to enjoy what they are reading and want to pitch in to the conversations.

I just completed "Where Angles Fear to Tread Parts 1 and 2" with Bear's help. I was hopelessly stuck trying to destroy that flying Bunker thing. My rockets were gone and the small arms fire just wasn't cutting it. This has been the hardest mission so far for me.

As you can see by the mission list, there's just a few missions left, however, I think there are many side missions available. I'm a level 27 now and there are, what, 60 levels possible. I still have a long way to go the get to the upper levels.
