I started "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragons Keep" last night. Oooh boy. This one is going to be a challenge. It is rated as a level 30 mission. I'm a level 37 right now.

If you don't know, this mission is Tiny Tina playing a "Dungeons & Dragons" style board game called "Bunkers & Badasses", and you are a game piece on the board. The Medieval world is filled with the mind of Tiny Tina as she narrates the story and makes changes along the way. She can make or change the rules of the game as you go along.

This is the origin of Tiny Tina's fantasy.

And this is how it begins

The first thing I did was make sure I could get back to Sanctuary OK (I didn't want to get trapped there). Once that was found out, I ventured forward slowly from the "Unassuming Docks" and encountered these walking skeleton pirates that throw swords. When they hit, they take a lot of shield away so keep your distance and keep moving side to side.

After killing the pirates and these rock creatures, I found some great level 35 weapons and a better shield. This new Hyperion sniper rifle is something else, "One Shot, One Kill".

Anyway, I never went to the waypoint. Instead, I went back to Sanctuary to stow away more of the level 50 guns I had from before, and make more room in my backpack.

I plan to return to the "Unassuming Docks" soon. I fully expect to have to kill those guys over again, but I have better weapons now. Anyone want to join me?

I wouldn't mind seeing a greater storage system. Maybe having a house where you can purchase various upgrades such as being able to hang your guns on a wall or on a gun rack.

A house would be cool, but for now, you can stow some of your stuff in Claptrap's "Secret Stash".

On a side mission called Claptrap's "Secret Stash", he tells you, "You helped me reach Sanctuary, minion - and for that, you deserve a reward. I have a secret stash hidden very, very far away from where I currently am! In order to find it, you will have to perform a series of devious challenges. First, collect a few brown rocks for me. Then, defeat a badass skag. Then, pilfer the lost staff of Mount Schuler. THEN you shall bring me the head of the Destroyer of Worlds, and THEN YOU SHALL DANCE FOR MY ENJOYMENT! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA--".

Claptrap wants to offer a reward for helping him reach Sanctuary, but first he has a few requests. He will announce five ridiculous objectives, all of which can be disregarded. Once he's done talking, the reward should reveal itself across the alley from him.

The secret stash operates like a small item bank that you can share between all of your characters.

Well, it's official. BL2 has surpassed Fallout 3 as my favorite game to date. According to raptr.com, I have played Fallout 3 for 170 hours and my current tally for Borderlands 2 is 216 hours and going strong.

How about you? How much time have you put into BL2?

I have been reading up on the True Vault Hunter Mode and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. Once you finish the main story, you can choose to play using the "True Vault Hunter Mode".

Once the story is complete, all enemies will scale with the host's level, up to level 50. Vault Hunters will most likely reach or be close to the level 50 cap by the end of this mode.

Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode is unlocked for a character once they have completed the main story missions in True Vault Hunter Mode and reached level 50.

All the enemies are scaled to the player's levels throughout the play through. If someone over your level joins your game though, then everything will scale to them since it scales to the highest leveled player in the game.

Last night, I searched the Main Menu for the True Vault Hunter Mode. I think I had to start a new game and then it gave me the option to play in True Vault Hunter Mode.

The game started me out back at the Southern Shelf where Claptrap finds me in the snow. I played for a little while and leveled up to 38 now. The foes are tougher now and I'm using more ammo than ever. I'm finding more money than before and the weapons are worth more if I sell them.

If you join my game, your character needs to be in the 30s to survive. If not, I'll switch to my level 8 Mecromancer character.

Buy your ammo in normal mode! It is a lot cheaper :)

Bear and I played some this weekend. We went to the "Unassuming Docks" to get some loot and some XP points. His new Mecromancer character is coming along nicely. He's up to level 28 now.

But, that's not what I want to talk about. I want to talk about my game time last night. Let me start by saying, the first time I played "The Best Minion Ever" mission, I had a hell of a time. I had to get past "Boom and Bewm" to complete the mission. Boom rides on top of Big Bertha (the cannon) and I died so many times and lost so much money, I hate to recall it.

Now, that brings us to last night. I dreaded this area because of the difficulty I had before. Playing in "True Vault Hunter" mode, I'm encountering harder enemies than ever before. I tried the run and gun tactic, but I died 3 or 4 more times, only now, I'm loosing 9,000 dollars each time. Time for a different approach.

I took some time and looked for a spot to snipe long range and I found one. I used my Hyperion sniper rifle and killed Boom and then charged the others, threw a grenade to weaken them and melee rampaged them until I was the last one standing. Success. I finally did it and it didn't hurt. I'm now at level 39.

I did over 25 hours this weekend. Went from level 24 Mech to level 33 or 34, don't remember right now. My Mech has almost caught up to my level 36 Assassin. I like Deathtrap so much more than the BS disappear for 4 seconds. Didn't put much into the disappearing act though, concentrated my skill points on beefing up all possible methods of sniper rifle FUN.

I miss my sniper rifle, still use them a lot as a the Mech, but they can't be fined tuned, but I just love to watch heads explode and legs fall off!

Psycho level 40, baby. 8)

I leveled up and made it to Sanctuary last night. I used two Shift Codes for some keys and used 3 keys to get a Lev 40 shield, pistol, and caustic rocket launcher. Sweet. This game is sucking my brain. I can't stop. Help me. :)

That's so great. How far from the end of the story missions are you? I can't wait to see that Character in Vault Hunter Mode.

Ahhhh-ha! That is why I can't join your games, you are in True Vault Hunter Mode!

I have tried to join you several nights in a row, but it won't let me.

I have finished the story missions, I have been playing Hammerlocks Hunt, Digistruct Peak and the Captain Scarlett missions. CAn't seem to get past Hyperius the not so invincible, so that I can start collection Seraph Crystals.

wiki.com recommends a party of four, with at least 1 Siren to defeat Hyperius. He is one of the most powerful entities on Pandora.

If you start a new game in True Vault Hunter Mode, you can continue to build your character, level up, and get more loot and better weapons.

You should still be able to join him. I helped out a guy level up a bit by inviting him to Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. If you guys think True Vault Hunter Mode is tough just you wait lol

What's going on over there? Are you letting the boy run up your character? I bet you are.

Nope, Cam is in Venice working. It's all me man. Hammerlocks Hunt and Captain Scarlett missions have a lot of things to kill, and there seems to be a lot of money in Hammerlocks Hunt.

Tried to kill another one of those invincibles last night, and got my cash drained away, to about 340K, gonna have to find help with that one too probably.
