Benicio Del toro is in talks to star in the new Predator movie. I think he will do well in the movie if he is playing a soldier he does well playing stern hard to read characters like he did in Sicario.

I'm so excited to see this movie, I can't stand it. My wife and I watch the original from time to time on our TiVo. I just love the music and sound effects.

Dean Devlin on ‘Stargate’ Reboot: ‘It’s to Let Us Finish Telling Our Story’

I respect that the original writers want their story back. If it was mine I never would have given it up in the first place, but as a fan of the TV show it seems a shame to negate 17 years of great shows.

I enjoyed the movie but I feel that SG1 and Atlantis took what the movie started and done far more than 2 or 20 more movies could have and instead of feeling sad about not making 2 more movies those guys should be proud that what they started inspired a spectacular franchise and just let it be.

Just finished watching Kingsglaive. It was an incredible movie, or the worlds most amazing Audi car advert!

Seriously buy or rent if your not an FF fan. It's a mixture of LoTR, sci-fi, the bugs from Starshiip Troopers, and enough fan service to make anyone happy. 10/10

I was going to check it out at some point, I will eventually get around to watching anything with Sean Bean in it. Another VG movie I watched recently was Street Fighter Assassin's Fist and it was very good, it is an origin story for Ryu and Ken and comes in at well over two hours long. It takes so long because it also spends a bit of time exploring their masters history but very well acted and a good character driven story.

I wish I was exited for the new Alien, I was for Prometheus and I though it was actually worse than Alien Resurrection. Seems to me either Ridley Scott has lost his talent for great sci-fi/horror movies or he needs to get better writers 😔

I am terrified just thinking about how the new Blade Runner is going to turn out.

Prometheus was indeed a disaster. I'm hoping Ridley Scott was just off his game for that film. I still have faith in him. Having the original Xenomorph should help, although there is still a lingering pile of filth from Prometheus that needs to be clarified for in Alien Covenant.

I'm not sure about it anymore, one of the things I loved was the mystery of the Xenomorphs and the Space Jockey and after 30 years they give us 9ft albino bodybuilders 😐
I would prefer they just give the franchise to Neill Blomkamp and say forget everything else and do a follow up to Aliens, which would be a much better place to pick up from in my opinion. Ridley might be back on track with new movie and if he is great but I am not holding much hope given fox hasn't been able to do the franchise justice for a good long while.

First trailer Assassin's Creed movie. I think it looked good but didn't like the distinct lack of blood, I just find it annoying when very violent movies lack blood especially when people are being stabbed, slashed and dismembered. Overall it did look a lot better than I thought it would the combat and free running are what you would expect from AC and the performance's so far seem strong.

The Assassin's Creed Movie is being released on December 21. Check out AssassinsCreedMovie.com

Hahaha, that is a good summary for Prometheus. I like the mystery as well although I certainly expected different results from the movie.

Hmm, a sequel to Aliens would be amazing, but where would they pick up from? Another expedition to LV-426 gone awry? Or perhaps an attempt at Xeno extermination? So many possibilities.

Picking up from Aliens does open a lot more options, perhaps a military expedition to find the lost Sulaco only to find it crashed and Ripleys queen has infested an entire planet or they find her cryopod intact and decide to try and harvest the alien queen and well things go awry as they usually do with those pesky Xenomorphs. They could also use that to set up a movie era AvP movies, Predators find silly humans playing science experiment with the aliens and decide to kill everyone 😮

I would absolutely love a movie era AvP. I just re-watched Requiem last night, and while still not the best film, it still had its moments. It's been about eight years since Requiem so I think we're due an AvP film soon.

I'd honestly take any plot whatsoever that followed after Aliens.

Requiem was much better than the first but still could have been better, my main problem with both was they kept the main focus on the humans and they always won. I did enjoy Requiem though it is a fun movie and seeing a Predator and Predalien go at it was good viewing 😄

The Predalien was an awesome addition and it was fun seeing a veteran Predator battle against it. I agree, the focus needs to be on the creatures, not the humans. It's their movie after all.

Has anyone here seen the Ghost and the Darkness? Yesterday I was watching a documentary about beasts that if were human would be classed as serial killers and this movie was referenced, and I thought you guys might want to see it too.

This was one of Dad and I's favorite movies, a true story about John Henry Patterson who job it is to oversee the building a railroad across Africa. However Two of the most vicious Lions in history start attacking the workers and his job is to hunt them down while trying to protect the people. The lions displayed behavior different to other lions as they didn't kill for food and more for the pleasure of it.

If you are thinking that this must be a crappy dangerous beast movie like Jaws you are very much mistaken. It blows Jaws out of the water. It is nothing like the other movies it is genre and I recommend it highly!

I loved the Ghost and the Darkness, even though the lions in question were of a maneless, now extinct variety. Apparently the actual lions are on display in a museum.

It is available on Amazon Video and VUDU for streaming. There is one showing on ENCHD-E (StarzEncore) cable TV on Dec 11, 2016 at 3:15pm EDT if you can get it.
