First trailer Assassin's Creed movie. I think it looked good but didn't like the distinct lack of blood, I just find it annoying when very violent movies lack blood especially when people are being stabbed, slashed and dismembered. Overall it did look a lot better than I thought it would the combat and free running are what you would expect from AC and the performance's so far seem strong.

Replace Kanye Wests' song with Jesper Kyd's Earth or Lorne Balfe's Assassin's Creed 3 Main Theme (or maybe use Lindsey Stirling's rendition of it) and the movie's trailer would be epic. But yes, it needs blood because it's Assassin's Creed.

Some news on the western Godzilla franchise, could be a good thing I think depending on who they replace him with.

I'm more excited about the upcoming Toho Godzilla more than the western version. Toho knows how to make Godzilla movies. The western front is still working on accomplishing that feat.

I agree, the Resurgence trailer was very good. I think Hollywood needs to get some Japanese talent writer/director/producers on board, Hollywood always seems to have trouble adapting Japanese material and doing a good job of it.

I came across a show on amazon called The Day After, it is currently on season 2 and it comes across as having been inspired by Fallout and Resident Evil. I am on episode 3 the budget seems good so far as does the acting, it is in russian so it's subtitled but I am enjoying it more than I thought so far.

I picked up a WB Archive DVD called Genesis II it looked really average and I thought it would be low budget but turned out it had a really decent budget and was very good. It is actually a pilot for Gene Roddenberry's story of Dylan Hunt which sci-fi show Andromeda is very loosely based upon.

It was well cast and acted featuring Alex Cord from Airwolf and Ted Cassidy who played Lurch in the Addams Family tv show. Genesis II never got picked up with the network instead opting to go ahead with The Planet Of The Apes show instead, I can't help but wonder if it had was Gene's idea with this show to have it tie in with Star Trek in some way.

I'm hoping to get to the cinema to see the new Independence Day, it looks like a great summer movie. I still haven't gotten around to seeing Civil War yet, so many movies, shows, books and games and just not enough free time. I saw that Stephen Kings The Mist has been given a 10 episode run, hopefully that turns out well I really enjoyed the movie and think a show could work out great with the right people on board.

Wow, reading this thread always makes me feel very old; all my favorite war movies have people in them that are already dead, like John Wayne, Lee Marvin, Errol Flynn, Audi Murphy, etc. Most of which a lot of our members probably haven't even heard of. Remember, I am the guy that didn't like the new Star Wars movie....just a repeat of the 1977 original.

Tom Hiddleston is apparently in talks to be the new James Bond, who would you all think could be a great Bond and do you have any thoughts on a director for the future movies?

I think Tom is a good choice but I would prefer Jason Isaacs or James Purefoy, as for director I love Paul Greengrass' work on Jason Bourne and think he could really do 007 justice.

I read that some people want to change the series into Jane Bond...

I read that the other day, Gillian Anderson was brought up. I think having Bond team up with another 00 again would be good and having it be a female agent could work well but I don't like the idea of changing 007 to a female. Kate Beckinsale as 005 for example, she is not a stranger to starring in action movies.

I'd love to see Kate Beckinsale as a 005. That would be awesome! I heard that Jamie Bell is being considered to play Bond as well. That could be interesting.

I think Hugh Jackman could do it. Maybe he could alter his accent just a bit to make it British. He might be to old now. I don't know.

I think Jackman could pull it off, he wouldn't be the first Australian to be Bond. I have always thought Bond should be somewhere between late 30s to early 50s, to me he shouldn't be any younger I think to have the experience and confidence Bond portrays.

Hugh Jackman is a great idea! He's so very talented.

The 005 is a good idea too.

This is just a thought, Is anyone here bothered to watch WarCraft the movie? That was based on the first game which is back in the 19s or something and had ineligible story narration which then I had no idea what was happening then this movie came, Which I don't know when will it come out in other countries but Philippines has an odd ability to make movies come out earlier than usual.

After Watching now I'm quite understand the lore and story, to be honest I was actually thinking to play WarCraft 3 again.
