Gundam Wing is probably my favorite Gundam series however I like them all (except SD). Dragon Ball Z is a classic. Have you been keeping up with the newer series, DBZ Super?

To be honest no,I couldn't get into Gundam 00,and I tried to get into Dragon Ball GT but I couldn't and I've kind of kept away from DBZ Super :( I can listen to the opening themes for Gundam Wing over and over again.

I enjoyed the original Dragon Ball series. At first I couldn't get into it,but after watching the entire series of Dragon Ball Z,I was interested to see what Goku did when he was a kid/teenager :)

I can agree with that. 00 wasn't nearly as good as previous entries. It had some cool elements but it didn't captivate me like Wing or Zeta did. Everyone harps on Seed and Seed Destiny, some of which is merited, but I liked both. The re-use of scenes and Kira and Athrun constantly yelling each others name was annoying though. White Reflection is a great opening theme, very iconic.

DB GT was, meh. SSJ4 was cool but not as mesmerizing as the original SSJ or SSJ3 transformations. I haven't seen the original Dragon Ball since I was a kid but it was certainly interesting seeing younger versions of DBZ characters. Plus learning about their origins was fun.

You should try Marvel like Agents of SHIELD or Netflix Jessica Jones and Daredevil and DC TV series like Arrow or The Flash.
I seem to take the liking of them but I liked anime more, although most of my Animes are Slice of Life like Sakura Trick and Sakurasou. but never hurts to try new yeah?

Just watched Game Of Thrones latest episode, I think it is the only show I am upto date with since I am still behind on 12 Monkeys and Banshee. I must admit things did not turn out as I expected but it was a great episode. I still think they should be doing 12-15 episode seasons though some thing do feel like they could need fleshing out more.

I came across this online for the new episode and thought it was rather cool.

Starting to put a dent in my backlog of TV shows and finished The Expanse season 1, I thought it was a very good mix of sci-fi/horror/political thriller so I hope it gets picked up for a second season. The horror elements are very light and don't really appear till later in the season and seems like that aspect of the show will be more apparent if the show continues.

A solid sci-fi show though and one I really hope they don't cancel since they already pulled the plug on Defiance. Next on the list is 12 monkeys season 2, anyone watching that?

Yes! Though I wish I had re-watched season 1...it took so long for season 2 to come out that I don't remember everything that happened...I've found myself getting really confused, this season and not from all the time-traveling...

"Wait, why are they mad at each other?"
"Who is she talking about?"
"Why is he still there?"
"Didn't that dude die?"

Still good, though...

I am on the second episode and of S2 and was having a hard time remembering everything especially about Jennifer, I can't remember much about her story line from the first season except that she is out of her mind 😆

Took me a few years but I finished watching Stargate Atlantis... okay more than a few years but there it is, I caught some of it when it was on TV but I have been chipping away at it start to finish for a couple of years on Amazon video/Netflix. I actually liked it a lot more than SG1 and wish it had gotten at least a couple of more seasons, I read they had started planning season 6 with Atlantis being used as a lunar base now that would have been great 😎

I always thought it would have been awesome for a crossover where a Gould took over a Wraith. It would have been the perfect bad guy!

A Wraith system lord, Gould+Wraith healing would make them damned near invincible and would be the making a great villain. I would also love a Stargate RPG, there was a game in the works a good while back with Anubis as the main antagonist but it got cancelled 😒

There was also going to be a Stargate FPS but I think that the company making it went bust.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to these new shows. Marvel's done a great job with their films as of late but their shows are arguably better, largely due to more air timing equating to more character development. Daredevil was a welcomed surprise last year, as was Jessica Jones. Luke Cage and Iron Fist will be just as welcomed.

I can't believe Stargate hasn't had a big budget game yet, it seems to me everything is there for one since it has 15+ seasons and a 3 movies to drawn upon not to mention a massive fanbase already which most games that get released don't have.

I feel the Netflix shows are doing better than the movies partly due to what you said about longer run times and therefore far more time to develop the stories and characters, I have stopped watching AoS though after trying to watch it once DD season 2 finished I just felt very meh about it. I think it is due to the difference in tone between Netflix and shows and AoS and the writing doesn't seem quite as good to me.

Call me kooky, but I am now into "The Walking Dead" on Netflix. I'm almost finished with the 3rd season and I love the writing of this story. They are flipping back and forth between the prison and the town, and the people are battling each other and the walkers for survival. It's great.

I have some catching up to do because the new season (7) premieres Oct. 23rd.

I really enjoyed The Walking Dead for a while. I think I got about half way into season 5 and just fell away from the show, can't really put my finger on why I just sort of lost interest in it. If you are in a zombie mood I recommend Return of the Living Dead from 1985, easily my favourite zombie movie of all time 😛

Sometimes I do feel sick and tired already in The Walking Dead, but I then think that I've put too much of my time by watching all of the season. now I'm kinda knee deep in it already, I just kept going, it's good I think. not really bad just tiring sometimes. also the same with the Arrow, I mean I just jumped in Season 3 couple of years back, didn't get to watch Season 1 and 2. kinda regretting it since brother said it was the best season of the series. now Season 4 is getting allot of Shipping feels, (ahem, Oliver and Felicity)

anyway, I don't know what to feel about Zombie shows anymore, I'd rather play Zombie games.

I finished season 5 and now I'm waiting for the rebroadcast of season 6 on AMC. It should be sometime in September, and then I'll be ready for the new season in October.
