I saw Bear playing Fallout 4 last night. Level 135? WTH? This is what "taking a break from Fallout looks like". Not ! 😜

I finished the Titanfall 2 campaign yesterday, then jumped into Gears 4 for one mission, then decided to go to the Wasteland.

Fallout 4 is my kill time game. I love building in this game, and that is what I typically do, tear down a settlement, and re-build it. I am on fourth of fifth iteration of Sanctuary and Spectacle Island, just wrapping both of them up again, and it takes some time to re-situate all those sets of Power Armor. I wish one settlement was unlimited. Might have to go to my PS4 game and start modding that one.

But I dare to say, you will see me in the Wastelands fairly regular in 2017 unless a better game comes along that I derive as much pleasure from. Keep trying to jump back into Witcher 3, but it just doesn't grab ahold of me, as FO4 doesn't grab everyone else like it does me.

Mods' in FO4 haven't all been rosy. I have quite a few downloaded, and have been experimenting, and the last batch has a glitch that locks the game up quite frequently. I fear it is the one that add green to the Wasteland. I was really looking forward to getting a lot of screenshots with a greened out Commonwealth. I backed out a couple of DL's each time it would lock up, and have it eliminated, and will try the four or five I added last one at a time till I figure out the culprit. Also, didn't care for the "modernized weapons" DL, it converted all the ammo too, and I am just not familiar and it didn't feel like Fallout with todays armory. Got rid of that one quick.

WCHQ is a big hit with me, but it does make me jealous that I can't build something like that, just wish we could fast travel to HQ from the commonwealth, as there is a TON of area to build your own "tower", Still have to experiment though, I just got started on a new game, made it level 20 yesterday, gotta hit lvl 40 so I can fast travel when overloaded, that is when I can start building for real. Maybe when I retire I can find the time to really get into this stuff, but for now, I am usually limited to playing one day a week.

See ya in the Wasteland. . .

I spent about 6 hours today trying to finish up the Nuka World DLC. No luck. I can't find the hidden Cappys and I can't get the main power turned back on so I can get that last star core for the mission. I guess I'm going to have to go to youtube for help. I didn't want to, but I'm getting frustrated now not finding things. 😠

How are the DLCs, the vast majority of reviews on Steam are terrible and at £40 for the season pass I could just about buy a brand new game. Most seem to say Far Harbor is good but the rest of it is just awful and not worth the money.

y'know, I did a calculation on that Season Pass and the individual DLCs. It costed less for buying them one by one than getting the Season Pass.(that's what I did) but I enjoyed Far Harbor more than the others. I was expecting that all the DLCs are that good. and story driven I was wrong but not entirely disappointed. I really have low expectation on everything after all.

Glad you got a good deal on the DLC, on steam in the UK it works out at £55 to buy all the DLCs one their own. Hopefully this model is not something Bethesda continues with in the future, it sounds like they could have put all the smaller ones into one DLC as a mini expansion based on what I have read and saw on youtube.

That is expensive. In order to make mods I had to re-buy everything for the PC. Got the lot for $44

I killed all the raiders and turned the power on finally. I retrieved the last star core and got the X-01 Power Armor in the display case. Yeah. 😄

I think I was the last to finish the last DLC for Fallout 4. What a game. It's the last 2015 game in the "Out Now" section. With a heavy heart, I think it's time now to move it to the "Vintage Games" section. It was a good run. Games like this don't come around very often.

Falconer is still working on expanding the Clan HQ mod for the game, so it's not over yet. There is still plenty of life left in this game for us to enjoy. Just look for it in the Vintage section.

Me, I am still playing this game. I still do at least 10 hours a week in Fallout 4. I love it for the building aspect and the fact that my imagination seems to be the limit with MODDED games. My mod game finally caught up with my non mod game, I am currently at level 131 with both, but the mods allow so much more variety to be built.

I would advise that if you play a modded game, don't finish the story line too fast, you have little to do once you do that, it is better to stay in the game before you get to major divergence points of the RPG portion.

There are some serious mods out there now, and with the Creation Club, it is getting even better, new content, more variety in all aspects. I have tried building games like City Streets, Civilization, etc, they just don't hold the same allure as fallout, as when I don't feel like building, I can go shoot things and blow them up.

Just tried a "fetch workshop" mod yesterday, that allows me to build anywhere I wish, problem is I can't get any settlers attracted to set up a trade route with Sanctuary so that I have access to my building supplies, which is well over 100,000 of each and every raw material needed. I have learned to manipulate some of the mods to constantly keep increasing my building space, my Spectacle Island is probably five times larger than the standard game would ever allow you to construct, so is Sanctuary, just not enough room there. I downloaded a mod last week that cleans up sanctuary and gives you a fully walled in site, with concertina wire on top, but no trees, only thing left is the roadway, even the big tree in the cul-de-sac is gone, so my tree house went bye bye. I have been working on it, and have five major structures complete, but still concentrating on Spec Island for now.

Heck, all of my settlements have major construction projects on them.

Don't see many of you guys playing anymore, never see Masiv on line any more, Damoder is who I see the most from the Clan, but I haven't done any online gaming in forever.
