I am looking forward to this. I have debated about just buying BL2 and the season pass because it would probably be cheaper but with the GOTY edition at least I would have a disc which might be better for the long run. I hope it comes out soon.

I have BL2, but it didn't seem like the people I played BL with were much involved int he BL2 release. Like any good game hoarder, I will have to buy the GOTY edition, just to have in my collection. That and I have not downloaded any of the DLC's for it. The price has dropped drastically on the original release, seen it for 17.99 USD in game stop the other day.

Maybe it is time we all got together on a planned Saturday and give it a go. I have about a level 32 sniper, I think, Haven't plugged it in, in quite a while.

I would love that (just like old times).

That would be fun plus it would give me an excuse to renew Xbox Live, for a month at least.

Oh, you've got to love a starving student. He has a little and needs a lot. Maybe we should adopt you. It least we don't have to send you to college.

Lots of love man.

Ah the typical college student stereotypes...they do tend to be quite accurate though hahaha. Luckily, that's not the case for me. Going to a community college for two years certainly helps financially. However, I guess I will have to sacrifice a few meals of ramen for BL2:P

In case you were wondering; the Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition includes all four expansions within the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, as well as the Creature Slaughter Dome, all Premiere Club content, the Psycho character class, collector's edition heads and skins, and the Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Pack 1.

Here's a list of all the extras included with BL2 GOTY

  • Borderlands 2 Main Game
  • Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty
  • Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage
  • Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt
  • Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
  • Creature Slaughter Dome
Premiere Club Content:
  • Gaige, the Mechromancer Character Class
  • Gearbox Gun Pack
  • Golden Key
  • Vault Hunter’s Relic
  • Krieg, the Psycho Character Class
  • Collector’s Edition Heads and Skins
  • Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1

I hope that's enough to keep you busy for the next 200 hours or so.

They will probably release another disk in a few years with the new DLC's, or a next gen GOTY Edition.

Signed on to Xbox Live last night and all the DLC's for BL2 were 50% off, so I downloaded everything I didn't already have. Still gonna buy the GOTY edition for Di so we can play together.

2K is having a game sale on Xbox live and most of the Borderlands 2 DLC, if not all of it, is on sale along with the game. It's a good deal however I'll save my money for the physical GOTY disc.

Also, Bioshock Infinite is I believe $15 USD with this sale which is quite a good deal. After reading an article in a gaming magazine the new DLC for the game looks to be amazing and is set in Rapture post Bioshock 1 and it will be a two parter. The First part is set to release in early 2014. I know this is not Borderlands related but I am too lazy to put this into it's own thread:P

OK guys, if you are really going to buy BL2 GOTY when it comes out, we need to figure a day (Sat or Sun for several weeks) and time to get together and play co-op online. It will be soooo much fun. BearMeat needs to plan his XBLive time as well.

Falconer, I know you like the PS3. Are you on the XB as well? If so, are you in on this?

Think about when, and post some ideas here.

Oh boy, there's going to be blood shed on the borderlands, and I hope it's not ours.

Hi guys!! I have BL2 Vault Hunters edition, still in its box unopened. Will be getting the GOTY edition, but not sure when as I'm still looking for a job so money a little tight. Still, I have the base game, plus Borderlands, and have to admit it would be fun to hook up with you guys again sometime!

Yeah we should definitely plan for a game day sometime! This month looks to be a little hectic for me personally but I'm sure I can find some time to spend in the borderlands. I have never played four player co-op in borderlands so it would make for a fun experience.

Bear and I played 4 man co-op in BL1 with some of our Battlefield buddies a while back and let me tell you, it was a hoot.

We have to firm this plan up, but first, the game has to come out. I'll get my copy sometime next week.

We can still play with the basic edition, just can't play the DLC's. At least until the GOTY comes out and everyone has it. The campaign is pretty long, I still haven't finished it.

Let's game!
